SIST organised its 1st International Conference with success

Over 70 participants from 15 countries gave presentations at the ICeP’09 conference in Marrakech between 25 and 27 September’09. All promised to come back year.

SIST reinforces its MBA programmes with UWIC

SIST signed agreement to deliver UWIC MBAs. Student will take a British programme of 18 months and will be awarded University of Wales MBA.

SIST students train at Gymnasia

SIST students can now train at any Gymnasia centre in Casablanca.

Visit of Chris Marshall, University of Sunderland

	On Saturday 1st November 2008 an awards ceremony was held for successful Bruneian students who have studied at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. The Vice-Chancellor of UWIC, Professor Antony Chapman, was joined by HRH the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at the Universiti of Brunei Darussalam for the award ceremony. more info
	FORMULA One giants Red Bull Racing brought its high-octane presence to the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) this week when they gave students just two days to complete a difficult challenge. Product Design students were given a brief by two experts from the top-class team - which finished second in both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championship last season - to design a new product which connects the F1 motor sport activities of Red Bull with the beverage. more info
	An exhibition that has just opened at the Science Museum is celebrating 1,000 years of science from the Muslim world. From about 700 to 1700, many of history's finest scientists and technologists were to be found in the Muslim world. more info
Visit of Chris Marshall, University of Sunderland	Chris Marshall, Head of the Business School, Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Sunderland visited the students in Casablanca. There was a lively Question and Answer session with students from all levels with the focus being on Advice on Studying and also a student satisfaction survey. Chris Marshall also spent time with teachers and staff. Also during his visit here in Morocco Chris Marshall met with M. Abdelhafid Debbarh, Secrétaire général du Ministère de l'enseignement supérieur marocain. more info
Tangier Trip Report	On December 25th 2009, the University of Sunderland and its Student Union organized a trip to the city of Tangier. There were several activities planned in order to make this trip adventurous and remembered by all students. The first step to make it successful was of course to choose a proper place for the students to stay in. After researching several hotels, we chose the Hotel Rembrandt which was located in the center of the town. more info
